The story so far
Marlos started with a simple question: why does learning technology so often focus on giving children answers instead of helping them stay curious? We started building Marlos to explore a different kind of learning experience, one that adapts to the child without taking the discovery away from them.
The teacher writes a lesson. Each child then works through it with their own Marlos, with questions, real pictures from museums and NASA, and short quizzes.
Everything runs on one computer inside the school. The teacher sees every conversation and stays in charge.
Marlos is a prototype. It holds no certification and claims none. We are looking for our first trial schools: smaller private schools in Switzerland.
